Stretch marks

Stretch marks adieu! Bring the body to pre-pregnancy form with the help of your specialists in Germany.

Stretch marks are visible scars in the skin caused by damage to the elastic fibers. In medical terminology they are referred to as striae cutis atrophicae or striae cutis distensae. The appearance of stretch marks during pregnancy is natural. Particularly unpopular, the skin cracks on the upper arms, breasts, abdomen, buttocks and hips. Stretch marks occur due to the following causes most often:

rapid growth during puberty , hormonally reduced skin elasticity during pregnancy, intense muscle building (like bodybuilding) , when a patient is overweight and during cortisone therapy.

The connective tissue in the dermis which is responsible for the elasticity of the skin consists of a network of collagen fibers. If the connective tissue stretches, this will cause irreparable cracks in the lower skin, leading to externally visible reddish blue stripes. Over time, the stripes fade, but remain visible as bright scars.  Not only women are affected, but the stretch marks occur in women more often than men. Skin cracks are found in men, however, especially at the hip, as well as with body training with a shoulder strap. Many attempts have been made to remove the marks with oil massages or creams, but they are usually unsuccessful . For this particular problem, your doctors of health2beauty for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Eva Kusch and Thorsten Wiens offer you medical needling.
